These terms apply to madmobile.co.za, run by Mad Mobile (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2020/843328/07). By using the website or applying for a phone you agree to them. Last updated: 17 October 2026.
Applying for a phone
- Phones are offered on a lease of 24 months, paid through a monthly deduction from your salary. You must be employed and earn a salary through your employer's payroll.
- We do not carry out credit checks. We check every application with your employer, and an application is only approved once your company has approved it and Mad Mobile has accepted it. We may decline an application.
- When you apply, you sign the lease agreement and salary deduction instruction online. Your contract with Mad Mobile is set out in those documents, and they apply if anything on this website differs from them.
- A once-off deposit of R300 is added to your first payroll deduction. Nothing is paid on the website.
- Please make sure the information you give us is true and complete. We may cancel an application that contains false information.
Prices and phones
Prices are in rand and include VAT. Phones, prices and specifications on the website may change, and a phone may become unavailable. The price that applies to you is the one in your signed contract.
Using the website
You may use the website to find out about our phones and to apply. Do not misuse it, for example by sending false applications or trying to access other people’s information. Photos are for illustration, and the website content belongs to Mad Mobile.
Liability
We work hard to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or online. As far as the law allows, Mad Mobile is not liable for loss caused by using the website. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law.
